Dr. Ed Gilman to Highlight Annual Oregon Urban Forestry Conference

Noted urban forestry professor Dr. Ed Gilman from the University of Florida will be the featured speaker at the 2010 Oregon Urban and Community Forestry Conference, with the theme “Seed to City: The Journey of the Urban Tree”. Dr. Gilman will be joined by other presenters from Oregon and the Pacific Northwest in this two day event, which will feature a Nursery Field Day at the J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. nursery in Boring, Oregon on Wednesday June 2nd and an indoor education session at the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton, Oregon on Thursday June 3rd. A special early registration rate of $99 for both days is available for those registering prior to May 15th.
